Sessions are time periods within a negotiation. A session is usually started by one of the parties and ended by another one. Within each session the parties can make proposals or indicate their acceptance on any number of Suggestions that may have been generated or published by other parties. Smartsettle checks for agreement at the end of each session. An agreement is declared if all parties have accepted at least one package or value. If more than one package has been accepted, Smartsettle will determine the agreement in a way that rewards the party that moved the shortest distance in the session that just ended. |
