eNegotiation ADR: An Online Interactive Experience This online course led by Dr. Ernest Thiessen introduces eNegotiation as Alternative Dispute Resolution. Beginners without much computer experience will first spend up to ten hours learning the basics of SmartSettle by completing several introductory tutorials (Level I). They will then spend up to ten hours competing in the International eNegotiation Tournament (Level II). The tournament is an ongoing event that you can join any time and complete within three weeks. This course is designed to teach participants the benefits of collaboration among decision makers with conflicting objectives. Various contexts are available to choose from, including insurance settlement, labour management negotiations, supply agreements and family conflict resolution. This course is free to those not requiring education credits or recognition. An optional donation of US$30 is requested when registering for the tournament. You will be automatically enrolled in this course when you register for the tournament as a SmartSettle user.
