eNegotiation ADR – An Online Interactive Experience With Smartsettle Infinity

This online course led by Dr. Ernest Thiessen introduces eNegotiation as alternative dispute resolution. Beginners without much computer experience are introduced to visual blind bidding in a Smartsettle One competition at the International eNegotiation Exhibition. They then spend up to ten hours learning the basics of Smartsettle Infinity by completing several introductory tutorials. They will then spend up to ten hours in an online simulated negotiation with Smartsettle Infinity. This is usually done within the context of the exhibition. Competitors can join any time and are given three weeks to complete their negotiation.

This course is  designed to teach participants the benefits of collaboration among decision makers with conflicting objectives. Various contexts are available to choose from, including insurance settlement, labour management negotiations, supply agreements family conflict resolution and environmental resources.

For those not requiring education credits or recognition a donation of US $20 is requested when registering for the exhibition. You will be automatically enrolled in this course when you register for the exhibition as a Smartsettle user.  You can earn up to Level III Smartsettle Certification by demonstrating proficiency using Smartsettle in the competition.
