Certified Smartsettle Facilitator
Bruce has continued to practice the habit of life-long learning by adding “Certified Smartsettle Facilitator” to his academic list of accomplishments. Bruce’s extensive knowledge, empathic listening skills and command of the Smartsettle negotiation process makes him a valued member of the Smartsettle facilitator’s team. Bruce’s education achievements include a B.A. for the University of Manitoba, and M.T.S. from the Vancouver School of Theology, a M.Div. from Mennonite Biblical Seminary and his Ph.D. from Simon Fraser University. As is the habit of all life-long learners Bruce continues to add to his skill set completing the MPW Coaching Certification from the Cevey Systems, Tubigen, Germany.
Bruce is an Award winning instructor (Sperling Award, 2005) who has developed trusted mentor relationships with students and faculty at four institutions based on a commitment to building self-confidence and competence in critical thinking. The University of the Fraser Valley, University of Phoenix, the University Canada West and the Vancouver School of Theology have all benefited from Bruce’s ability to provide his students with the knowledge and skills necessary for success.
