What happens if no agreement is reached?

While Smartsettle does not have any pre-determined limits on time or number of proposals that parties can make, the system does employ features which help move parties more quickly through the negotiation process. Parties are in complete control of how long they wish to negotiate and during Final Session if agreement appears unlikely, parties can agree to optional Arbitration which then ensures an agreement will be made.
