| Firewall Settings - Troubleshooting |

If you try to connect to a Smartsettle server, and it doesn’t seem to be working, your Internet connection may be protected by a firewall that is preventing you from connecting to our servers. In order to connect to the SmartSettle servers, your computer must be able to reach the servers located on gv1.smartsettle.com and gw1.smartsettle.com, and also be able to connect to ports 2400-2401 and 3000-4000 on those servers. If your firewall uses a proxy server, you will need to enable firewall settings. To open the dialog, start Smartsettle and then from the Smartsettle File menu (not here in your browser) choose Application Options and click Firewall Settings. Your computer systems administrator may need to help you with this. |
